Wisteria

We don't get much wisteria in Florida, or at least in my neck of the woods, but it seemed to be pretty popular in DC. I spotted it growing wild in the woods several times from the train I rode into town. The purple variety above seems to be the most prevalent. I spotted it growing on a wall at The National Museum of American History. The white one below was on the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial near the Tidal Basin. Pretty cool stuff, but no match for all the cherry trees around.
